Welkom op de website van het enige studentenorkest voor barokmuziek van Nederland: het Kunstorkest uit Utrecht.
We spelen muziek uit de periode tussen 1600-1800, van Bach tot Mozart. Kom meespelen in ons studentenorkest tijdens een van onze repetities! Bij het Kunstorkest kan je nieuwe muziek, nieuwe manieren van spelen en nieuwe mensen leren kennen. Heel bijzonder aan ons studentenorkest is dat wij onder leiding staan van een concertmeester, de barokexpert Hans Lub. Hierdoor staat samenspel centraler dan bij grotere (studenten)orkesten en leert iedereen elke week iets nieuws van onze concertmeester.

Welcome to the website of the one and only student orchestra specializing in baroque music of the Netherlands, based in Utrecht: the Kunstorkest. Rehearsals are (partly) in English.
We perform music from the period between 1600 and 1800, from Bach to Mozart. Come and join the Kunstorkest during one of our rehearsals! Through the Kunstorkest you can discover new music, new ways of playing and new people. What is very special about the Kunstorkest is that we are lead by our principal violinist, the baroque expert Hans Lub. Because of this, the Kunstorkest plays more intimately than bigger orchestras, and every week everyone learns new things.
